Just like typical Nigeria politicians who have all the tactics to win an election but not a single strategy to serve the citizens to reasonable satisfaction.

You put on all your possible best to get the job but forget that the best part of it is for you to give your best on the job to your advantage more than that of your employer.

Nigeria politicians are good at begging you to vote for them with lots of fictitious promises of good governance but once they get there, they become the mini-god intimidating the same people they begged to vote them in.

Like a typical job seeker begging to receive a job, once they get the job, the employer will now become the one forcing them to do the job until they result in intimidation starting from payment to sack.

This same situation is not excluding entrepreneurs most especially startups and freelancers who need customers and can do anything to get them, but once there is few at his disposal the game change, even though he chorus with others that “the customer is the king” in business.

Nobody ever wins that way, as a matter of fact, it is a mediocre mentality and any gain from such an act is temporary.



I have heard stories of community leaders approached to bring development to their communities putting in place social amenities most especially roads that require they pay him some certain amount of money before they can do so, if not it will be impossible.

Stories like this are unbelievable but it is true signifying how daft our so-called leaders are. If only they know that the best way to gain from the act of selfishness is to allow and give development, they will be in continuous search for it.

Leaders who satisfy his followers are only using the opportunities and resources giving to him (that does not belong to him) to gain honour, recognition, gift, and other rewards.

This is another way for you to put to use the concepts of “What are you building?”

Your salary for a start is to earn a living but your ability to give your best to the job is an effort towards building a sustainable future.

Your ability to get customers/clients to buy your products is needed to sustain yourself and the business at the initial stage, but your ability to focus on brand building through quality products, services, and customer relations is guaranteed to build a sustainable future for yourself and the business.

Nobody is immune to the principle of “cause and effect.” You can’t plan onion expecting to harvest vegetables.

Efforts towards the intention of earning it all in a short time will mostly result in regrettable outcomes in the long run.

The only way to build it to last is to give your best to every area of your endeavour.
